Inventory & cost control · Built for Kenya

Know where your stock
and money are going.

The delivery at the back door. The bottle that was never rung up. The bill that does not match the order. Bring the work of controlling your stock into one considered workspace.

Every movement recorded. Every bill checked. The gap, in shillings.

01 / The walkthrough

A minute and a half
through the whole workspace.

The invoice queue, a stocktake, the variance in shillings, and the same records in the hand of whoever is standing at the back door.

THE PLATFORM FILM1:28 · NO SOUND

02 / The workspace

Everything between
the supplier and the shelf.

Built for the way an outlet actually runs: deliveries at odd hours, storerooms without signal, and a bill that arrives days after the goods.

Stock ledger

A ledger that cannot be edited

Every movement is appended and never overwritten. A mistake is corrected by a reversal that stays visible, so the stock figure always has a history somebody can follow.

03 / Procure to record

Behind every invoice,
a delivery somebody signed for.

Order it, receive it, then check the bill against both. Finance sees what agrees, what differs and what cannot be approved at all, and why.

Walk through the invoice queue
DELIVERY DOCKETGRN-0231 · PO-0231
  1. 01

    Order

Raise a purchase order against agreed supplier prices, through an approval chain set by value.

  2. 02

    Receive

Book the delivery at the bay on a phone. What arrived, what was short and what was refused, line by line.

  3. 03

    Match, then record

The invoice arrives already compared with the order and the receipt. Approve with a reason, then record the payment reference against it.

04 / A useful second pair of hands

Ask a question.
Stay close to the record.

Bohari AI answers from your own documents and live records, and shows the lookup beside every answer. Anything that would change a record waits for your sign-off.

Questions to start with

“What’s my variance
this week?”

“Which invoices are waiting on me?”

“Where do I record a stocktake?”

Available records and actions depend on your permissions and company settings.
The Bohari phone app home screen: three approvals waiting on a decision, tiles for approvals, stock on hand, receiving, transfers, recording and waste, nothing left waiting to sync, and four documents waiting for a decision today.THE STOREROOM HAS NO SIGNAL

05 / Beyond the desk

For the people
at the back door.

Receive deliveries and count stock from a phone, in a store room with no signal. Captures queue on the device and sync exactly once when the network comes back, however many times the button is pressed.

06 / Built to be trusted

A stock system
is a control system.

If the numbers can be quietly changed, they are not evidence of anything. Bohari is built so that they cannot be.

Separation of duties, enforced

The person who approves an order cannot be the only one who approves its invoice, and cannot record its settlement. These are checks on the document, not just role names.

One tenant cannot see another

Every query is scoped to the company that made it, and a user assigned to one outlet is refused another. Proven by an isolation test suite, not by convention.

Built for Kenyan operations

Prices in shillings, VAT handled as the pass-through it is, KRA PINs optional because much real buying is from traders who have none, and settlement recorded against TendePay or bank references.

What it records, and what it never does

Bohari records what was paid. It never moves your money.

Approving a supplier invoice here does not release a shilling. You keep settling through your own finance system and TendePay; Bohari records the reference against the invoice so the purchase document and the payment can always be tied together. No disbursement, no cash vouchers, no second set of books.

07 / Getting started

Start with one outlet.
Build from there.

Set up outlets and items

Add your branches and their storage locations, then your item list with the units you buy, count and serve in. A starter catalogue of what a Nairobi kitchen actually carries comes with it.

Order and receive

Raise purchase orders against agreed supplier prices, and book the deliveries in on a phone as the lorry unloads.

Count, and see the gap

Close the period with a blind count. Bohari values the difference between what should be on the shelf and what is, and tells you where it went.
